Area of Research (100 Words):
 Under the broad spectrum of developing co-polymers focused work on “Modification of polymers by graft copolymerization”. Their synthesis, characterization and possible applications was the core arena of research.
 Undertook and successfully completed a UGC sponsored project titled ‘ Polymerization of industrially important vinyl monomers’.
 Post Ph.D research projects @IIT, Delhi
o Evaluation of potential membrane applications for water disinfections and alcohol fermentation in collaboration with Applied Membrane Technology Inc. U.S.A
o Life cycle analysis of PET bottles- in terms of energy consumption
o Grafting of anti-microbial coating on to contraceptives.
o Development of eco-friendly and value-added jute based material

 Development of value-added Polymeric Material with enhanced properties for wide ranging applications in environmental, food, packaging, bio-medical and nascent growth arenas.
 Impact and Improvement of PU foams by the use of functionalised nano-particles, fillers and fibres on its structure and properties
