Biography

Carmen Pavelescu MD, PhD, is a graduated of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Carol Davila, Bucharest, Romania, since 2004. She is a Pediatrician and general practitioner and obtained her medical degree in 2015, as a student with POSDRU scholarship, with a thesis in the field of dermatology, infectious diseases and immunology: ”Identification of a possible array of specific variations of cytokines in the context of the appearance of cutaneous manifestations in patients with HIV-AIDS in Romania”. In addition to her medical career, is strongly committed to serving on the editorial writings, including medical statistics and research in communities to enhance the quality of patients life. Her research interests cover all fields of paediatrics, general medicine, immunology and molecular biology. Between 2016-2021 she completed Pediatric Residency Program. Skills: Bilingual in English and French, multidisciplinary team collaboration, medical statistics abilities, patient-focused care. Member of Romanian Society of Pediatrics, Member of European Academy of Pediatrics, Member of American Academy of Pediatrics, Member of PeDRA, Member of ESICM. her skills are adapting to difficult situations, self-taught by nature is extremely determined to succeed in everything she sets out to do. The desire to fulfil is to visit all continents and collaborate with hospitals around the world.
