Biography

Ibtisam Kamal is a Professor of Process Engineering from La Rochell University -France. She worked as a teacher and researcher in the faculties of engineering of Basrah, Baghdad, and La Rochelle University. Currently, she is a full professor and researcher in the Faculty of Engineering, at Soran University, Kurdistan Region Iraq, and a scientific consultant at Basrah University College of Science and Technology.
Prof. Ibtisam Kamal's research activity is documented by more than 160 scientific peer-reviewed papers and 2 patents one of them European, she has participated as a keynote speaker and delegate at dozens of national and international conferences, and she has also served as a consultant in petroleum and petrochemical industries, she is a member of the editorial board of international journals. One of her main research interests has focused on simulation, optimization, and modeling the production processes of materials namely biofuels, eco-friendly drilling fluids, smart building materials, and green nanoparticles.
