My Biography

I mainly do research related to Sustainable More services in Built Environment. The detailed research interests include: • Biological approaches for pollution abatement and control o synchronized soil pollution remediation and safer edible crop production in untreated wastewater irrigated agricultural fields o assisted phytoremediation in co-cultivated crop fields i.e., Pollutants-Soil-Nutrients Nexus o biodegradation of organic pollutants esp. POPs and OPs with short half life • Atmospheric carbon harvest through hydrophytes cultivated in wastewater • Carbon sequestration through composting and biochar • Recycling through composting, biochar, syngas, and biogas production from wasted lignocellulosic and animal biomass such as: o kitchen waste/biodegradable components of municipal solid waste o hydrophyte biomass harvested from natural and constructed wetlands o crop residue o biomass of invasive weeds o waste wood arising from different sources o animal carcass and offal produced during mass slaughtering rituals o whole animal and its carcass • Application of compost and biochar for promoting: o comprehensive soil health improvement o regenerative agriculture in rice-wheat crop system o conventional and organic vertical farming of safer and sufficient vegetables at consumer level

Sangeeta Kakkar is an assistant professor of clinical psychology at Shoolini University and a Read More Research Scholar. Delhi is where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her postgraduate degree in clinical psychology. Kakkar is a committed teacher who is passionate about learning how previous trauma affects people’s lives and actions. Kakkar had clinical experience through internships at several hospitals and healthcare facilities before beginning her academic career. She was exposed to a range of mental health issues during her three months as an intern psychologist at Lok-Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital in Delhi Gate, India. Kakkar also worked as an intern in Fortis Healthcare Limited’s Department of Mental Health and Behavioural Sciences, where she worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disease. Kakkar’s academic achievements are her B.Ed. and qualified UGC-NET Assistant Professor test. Additionally, she was successful on both the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test and the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. Kakkar is now conducting research on the stress, coping mechanisms, and mental health issues that parents of children with developmental impairments encounter. Till now I have published research articles in International peer review journals. Looking forward to working more in the field of clinical psychology.
