My Biography

Dr. Devendra Vashist, currently working as More Professor & Head, of Automobile Engineering Department, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research & Studies (MRIIRS) Faridabad. Dr Vashist has a teaching experience of more than 24 years and has published more than 60 papers in National / International conferences and journals with 3 books in the area of Automobile Engineering. He has completed his B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from N.I.T. Jalandhar, M.Tech in Energy Studies from I.I.T Delhi and PhD From Jamia Millia Islamia. His areas of interest lie in Automotive Studies, Thermal Engineering, Internal Combustion Engines and Alternative Fuels. He was a key person in establishment of Automotive Training and research centre developed in association with HONDA and Electric One Mobility Pvt Limited at MRIIRS. Presently he is working in the area of EV Dynamics and Electric vehicle retrofit Systems. Dr. Vashist is recipient of Society of automobile Engineers (SAE) Guru award 2016 for his contribution towards SAE activities at Inter-University and Northern India Region by SAE India. Dr. Devendra Vashist is also Engineering Education Board Member of Society of Automobile Engineers (SAE) India He has worked as guide and mentors to students who has participated and achieved positions with their innovative projects at national and international level. Presently he is chairman of Proctorial Board, Department Research Committee and Board of Studies of the University.

Sangeeta Kakkar is an assistant professor of clinical psychology at Shoolini University and a Read More Research Scholar. Delhi is where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her postgraduate degree in clinical psychology. Kakkar is a committed teacher who is passionate about learning how previous trauma affects people’s lives and actions.
Kakkar had clinical experience through internships at several hospitals and healthcare facilities before beginning her academic career. She was exposed to a range of mental health issues during her three months as an intern psychologist at Lok-Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital in Delhi Gate, India. Kakkar also worked as an intern in Fortis Healthcare Limited’s Department of Mental Health and Behavioural Sciences, where she worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disease.
Kakkar’s academic achievements are her B.Ed. and qualified UGC-NET Assistant Professor test. Additionally, she was successful on both the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test and the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. Kakkar is now conducting research on the stress, coping mechanisms, and mental health issues that parents of children with developmental impairments encounter.
Till now I have published research articles in International peer review journals. Looking forward to working more in the field of clinical psychology.
