My Biography

Dr. Pragya Pandey, with a Ph.D. in Food and More Nutrition from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, India, is a prominent academic and researcher. She has contributed significantly to the development and analysis of functional foods. Her teaching expertise covers various subjects, including Micronutrient Metabolism and Therapeutic Nutrition.
Her international experience includes training at Teagasc Research Institute, Dublin, Ireland. Dr. Pandey’s recent publication, “Development and Quality Evaluation of Polyphenols Enriched Black Carrot (Daucus Carota L.) Powder Incorporated Bread” in the Heliyon journal, highlights her proficiency in food product development.
Additionally, she has led impactful projects, notably in developing millet-based foods and establishing millet-based extrusion and bakery units for the economic empowerment of rural women.
