My Biography

I, Dr. Shital Patel, am working as an Assistant More Professor in School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Apeejay Stya University, Gurugram, Haryana. I have total more than Fifteen Years of Experience in industry, academics and research in different institutes- As a Technical Assistant in Torrent Research Centre, Gandhinagar; as a lecturer Meerabai Institute of technology, New Delhi; as an assistant professor in Parul Institute of Pharmacy, Vadodara, Gujarat; as an assistant professor in Bharat Institute of Technology, Ibrahimpatnam, Telangana. I completed B. Pharm. and M. Pharm. (Quality Assurance) from North Gujarat University (India) in 2003 and 2006, respectively. I have a very good academic track record as I got first class in B.Pharm. and M.Pharm. and qualified GATE-2003. Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Science is awarded on “Forced degradation study of selective H1- Antihistaminic drugs in bulk and formulation” by the Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat in 2019. My research area of interest includes analytical method development, forced degradation studies, method validation and impurity profiling. I have hands on experience about advanced instruments like HPLC, HPTLC, UPLC, FT-IR. She has credited eight National & International Research Papers publications with good impact factor and citations and two Book Chapters publications. I am life-time member of Association of Pharmacy Teachers of India.
