My Biography

Mr. Girish Nihalani is a Research Fellow of Drug More Product Development at Teva Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Actavis). Mr. Nihalani earned his Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2005 from Bombay College of Pharmacy, Mumbai University. Over years, Mr. Nihalani has developed more than 15 complex products as ANDA , many of which have been FDA approved as generics for US market. He has specific interests in amorphous dispersions, multiparticulates and matrix based systems. Mr. Nihalani has held professional positions of increasing prominence for globally renowned companies, such as Inventia Healthcare Limited, FDC Limited, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Cipla Inc., Watson Inc., Actavis Inc., and Teva Pharmaceuticals Inc. In his current role , he continues to lead development of drug products requiring expertise in formulation development and biopharmaceutics. Mr. Nihalani to his name has multiple (9+) publications including three patent applications. His has also presented at international conferences such as Controlled Release Society and AAPS (American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists). He serves as reviewer of peer reviewed journals such as American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS), Journal of Pharmaceutical Science (JPS), Journal of Controlled Release (JCR). He serves as an editorial board member of IJMPBS journal and member of AAPS. In his free time, Mr. Nihalani enjoys playing tennis and swimming.
