Graduate from L T College of Nursing, SNDT University, Postgraduate of CMC Vollore and Doctorate from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune. Fellow of the InSc international Publishers Senior Academician with 29 years of teaching experience, having worked in various faculty positions from clinical instructor to Professor and Principal in India and abroad. Published more than 25 scientific and research papers and presented papers as invited speaker in several conferences – National and International Am a approved guide and examiner for Ph D in various universities in India including Dr. M G R medical University and MUHs, Nashik. Is a peer reviewer for TNAI’s Nursing journal of India and member of the editorial board for KSCON journal of Nursing, International Journal of Comprehensive nursing and International Journal of Value Based Nursing care Practice Recipient of University Merit Scholarship-B Sc Nursing, Best teacher award by Rotary club of Pune in 2002 , Best teacher award by Nursing Teachers Association of India in 2022, Women Researcher award 2023 –International Scientist awards on Engineering, Science and Medicine Dronachary award for best teacher by Eduved foundation (Oct 2023)

The isolation of NTM species from humans, Mycobacterium virginiense is the second time to be Read More isolated from Human sputum in the world and water, Mycobacterium fortuitum highlighted that active and ex miners are at potential risks of acquiring pathogenic NTM from mining environment. The study has reviewed that they are NTM circulating in the mining environment and humans (active and ex miners) in Zambia which are potential pathogenic in immune comprised individuals. The identification of these Mycobacteria in clinical samples and environmental sources was important for both clinical and patient management, It will also help formulate policy change in understanding transmission factors that increase NTM transmission in mining
