My Biography

Dr. Maneesha Singh is an aluminous of Lucknow More University. She is working as Professor, Department of Botany, School of Basic and Applied Sciences and Former Dean, School of Agricultural Sciences at Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. She has completed her Ph.D. program from Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, CIMAP-CSIR, Lucknow and Lucknow University, Lucknow and field of specialization is Genetics and Plant Breeding (Botany). She has knowledge of conservation and cultivation of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants in vitro and in vivo. She has long teaching and research experience of about 21 years. She has organised and presented papers in seminars, conferences, webinar at National and International level. Successfully completed 05 faculty development programs (FDP) organized by NPTEL, MHRD, Government of India from 2019-22. She has published more than 60 research papers in National and International Journals, Proceedings and published 04 books. She has presented about 30 abstract papers in conferences/ symposium/ workshops. She is granted one US Patent: peppermint plant named “Pranjal” U.S – patent No. 6 of 844 (pp14, 090) granted on August26, 2003. Published 3 national and international patents and 3 varieties of MAPs . She is a life member of several scientific societies.
