My Biography

Dr. Yogesh Sharma joined SGT University in More February 2020 as an Assistant Professor. He has 6 years of Academic experience including Teaching and Research. After completed his Ph.D. in Physics (Photonics), from Department of Physics, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), he worked also as postdoctoral fellow at the Institute for Institute of Plasma Research (IPR), Department of Atomic Energy, Gandhinagar Gujarat in physics. He has also qualified the various repute examinations in the subject of Physics. Recently, He has been awarded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) – a Core Research Grant (CRG) on the Project entitled “Bloch Surface Mode Excitation and Tera/Giga hertz Frequency range using Magneto photonics Crystals” and edited a book as an editor in the field Photonic Materials: Emerging Research and Applications, Bentham Science international Publishers UAE. Dr. Sharma has expertise in research in the field of Photonic Crystal and Metamerials with an excellent academic record and experience in teaching and research along with repute laboratories. He has a number of high-impact factors and peer-reviewed publications to his credit.
