My Biography

Dr R V Shalini received her BE in Electronics and More Instrumentation Engineering form Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, India in 2011 and ME degree in Applied Electronics from Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, India. She has completed her Doctorate degree in low power VLSI design in Tri Value Logic in image processing application. Her research areas include low power VLSI design and design of biomedical devices in medical diagnosis. She is currently working as Head of the Department, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore. Hello everyone, I am presently working as Professor at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Atmiya Read More University, Rajkot, Gujarat, India. My major research areas are pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, pharmacology, development of herbal drug formulation. Three Ph D students registered under me who are presently working in different domains such as antidiabetic, immunomodulator and anticancer herbal drugs. I have guided 7 projects of UG students under SSIP (Student start up and Innovation Policy) scheme of Gujarat Government. I have selected as Mentor in Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) at AICTE, New Delhi to guide two interns for their project works. I am very interested to guide students in various research areas such as evidence based studies on traditionally used drugs and formulation as well as development of herbal drug formulations.
