My Biography

Dr. Bimal Chandra Roy is currently working as an More Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture and Planning, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, India. He graduated in Architecture with a Post-Graduation in Urban Planning. He received his Ph.D. degree from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, India. He has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience. His research interest and publications are focused across the interdisciplinary domain, covering urban and regional planning, infrastructure planning, heritage management planning, and planning for sustainable development.

Hello everyone, I am presently working as Professor at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Atmiya Read More University, Rajkot, Gujarat, India. My major research areas are pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, pharmacology, development of herbal drug formulation. Three Ph D students registered under me who are presently working in different domains such as antidiabetic, immunomodulator and anticancer herbal drugs. I have guided 7 projects of UG students under SSIP (Student start up and Innovation Policy) scheme of Gujarat Government. I have selected as Mentor in Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) at AICTE, New Delhi to guide two interns for their project works. I am very interested to guide students in various research areas such as evidence based studies on traditionally used drugs and formulation as well as development of herbal drug formulations.
