My Biography

Xiaohe (Jessie) Jin is an international scholar, a More self-motivated learner, an enthusiastic communicator, and a results-driven scientist, as evidenced by her involvement in diverse research endeavors and seven peer-reviewed scientific publications. Jessie holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from China Pharmaceutical University. Her research interests span multiple disciplines, including chemistry, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals. Dr. Jin’s work on the microbiology of a cyanobacteria-dominant holobiont has significantly advanced the field and the work of Consequently, this work represents progress toward her larger goal of advancing the design of novel bioactive compounds, enzymes, and DNA-based lateral flow assays to improve chemoenzymatic methods of natural product development and create cost-effective infectious disease diagnostics. Currently serving as a Scientist I at Atom Bioworks Inc. in Cary, NC, Jessie has been instrumental in designing a DNA biosensor-based lateral flow device targeting COVID-19. She has also synthesized lipid-nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems and conducted high throughput binding assays of DNA nanostructures using Surface Plasmon Resonance. With a robust academic background and extensive industry experience, she has made significant contributions to the development of diagnostics and drug delivery systems.

Madhusudhanrao Vallabhaneni

In our presents the studies related to the green synthesis of nano-HAP powders using wet-chemical Read More precipitation method with the use of different natural stabilizers at room temperature conditions. Nine natural stabilizers viz., Rice Water (RcW), Soya Milk (SM), Soya Leaves (SL), Spinach Leaves (SpL), Tea Decoction (TD), Tulsi Leaves (TL), Aloe vera (Alv), Gum Kondagogu (GKg) and Rose Petals (RP) have been used. Based on the results obtained in the present study on green chemistry synthesis of nano-HAP, after making several refinements to its synthesis (in terms of volume of Natural Stabilizer used, the type of Natural Stabilizer and temperature), the following recommendations are made for future studies. In addition to its pH, Ca/P ratio, morphology and photoluminescence studies, its application is largely dependent on the chemical activity of the Natural Stabiliser used as a precursor. Essentially the changes made to the synthesis of nano-HAP using natural extracts as Natural Stabilisers need further studies on its anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. After validating the results of its bioactivity and biocompatibility, an inference can be drawn about proposing it as a nano-HAP material for bone implant and dental filling materials. In the present study, in-vitro tests have been carried out using nano-HAP powders stabilised by Soya Milk, Rice Water, Soya Leaves and Spinach Leaves. In near future, the in-vivo study is recommended to look for the toxicity and possible side effects in living beings.

Dharma Raj Kandel

I am PhD scholar at Jeonbuk National University, South Korea. My field of research is adsorption and Read More membrane filtration of organic pollutants and heavy metals. These days, our team is focusing on the use of natural waste for the alleviation of effect of pollutants. Also, we are examining the difference in the performance of adsorbent and membranes after the incorporation of nanoparticles (e.g; MOF). We believe in the cost effective works in the research and doing as such.
