My Biography

I’m Dr. K. Hima Bindu, currently working as More Professor in the department of Pharmacology at Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam with a teaching experience of 18 years & 9 months. I was the youngest faculty to receive the first best teacher award in my career in the department of Pharmacology at KMC, Warangal. I have 4 Original Research articles, all published in esteemed International Journals – Scholar Science Journals, IJRMS, IJMRR, IOSR & one book chapter in BP Internationals, London, UK, which promotes the best scholarly research to the world in their books in various specialties. (Book – “Current Trends in Pharmaceutical Research & Development”, Vol 6 – On Gastrointestinal Toxicity of NSAIDs). I’m a reviewer of research articles of few International Journals also.

Hello everyone, I am presently working as Professor at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Atmiya Read More University, Rajkot, Gujarat, India. My major research areas are pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, pharmacology, development of herbal drug formulation. Three Ph D students registered under me who are presently working in different domains such as antidiabetic, immunomodulator and anticancer herbal drugs. I have guided 7 projects of UG students under SSIP (Student start up and Innovation Policy) scheme of Gujarat Government. I have selected as Mentor in Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) at AICTE, New Delhi to guide two interns for their project works. I am very interested to guide students in various research areas such as evidence based studies on traditionally used drugs and formulation as well as development of herbal drug formulations.
