My Biography

Dr. Parag Govardhan Narkhede is Head of the More Department at BKPS College of Architecture, Pune (Grant in Aid Institute of Government of Maharashtra) serving for last 20 years in India. He worked with Government College of Engineering as an Adjunct Professor for M.Plan Degree and at ADYP University, Pune for M.Arch Degree course. He has completed his Doctorate in Architecture from University of Pune. He has written 150 papers including 70 papers out of these are published in Refereed Journals and 36 papers in Indexed Journals (UGC, UGC CARE, Scopus, Google Scholar and Web of Science). Currently a UGC Recognized PhD Guide in Architecture at University of Pune (Savitribai Phule Pune University) He is also a PhD Co-Supervisor at VTU Belgaum, Amity University, Jaipur and MIT University, Pune. He is recognized PhD referee and examiner at Nagpur University. He is recognized UG and PG guide at University of Pune. He was awarded the D.Litt. (Doctor of Letters) by the Commonwealth Vocational University on June 2022

This work is crucial in mitigating the adverse health effects of poor air quality and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Second, I’ve been involved in water and wastewater treatment projects, aiming to develop more efficient and eco-friendly treatment methods. By optimizing these processes, we can ensure the availability of clean water resources while minimizing the environmental impact of wastewater discharge. Furthermore, I’ve been actively engaged in environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for various projects.
