My Biography

Dr. Rahul K. Maurya received his Ph.D. in More Medicinal Chemistry from CDRI Lucknow in 2019. His current position is Associate Professor at the Amity Institute of Pharmacy on the Lucknow Campus of Amity University Uttar Pradesh, India. Fifteen years of his professional life have been spent in the world of academics and scientific discovery and won different prizes. He has presented his findings at prestigious national and international conferences and published his findings in scholarly journals. His research interests include the development of new therapies for diabetes, infectious diseases, and central nervous system disorders via the discovery, design, and synthesis of novel nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds such as functionalized indoles, indazoles, TZD, benzimidazoles, isoxazoles, and nitroimidazoles. He has extensive experience in multidisciplinary research and computer-assisted drug design. He also contributes as a reviewer for several scholarly publications. He has guided the research of various students at the undergraduate and graduate levels to fruitful findings.
