My Biography

Prof. (Dr.) Ram Krishna Mandal, M. A., M. Phil. More and Ph.D. in Economics (NBU) is a Post Doctoral Research Awardee from UGC, New Delhi in 2012. He has been conferred the Outstanding College Teacher’s Award 2015 by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh in recognition to his meritorious services and versatile contributions made in the field of Education. He has to his credit more than 100 articles published in India and abroad. He has been awarded as the ‘Writer of the Year 2007’ of Journal of Global Economy from Research Centre for Social Sciences, Mumbai. He has so far produced 38 books written and edited individually and jointly. He has eight Major and Minor research projects to his credit sponsored by UGC, ICSSR and MAKAIAS. Presently, he has been serving as a Professor of Economics, Department of Economics, Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University, Cooch Behar under Govt. of West Bengal, India. Hello everyone, I am presently working as Professor at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Atmiya Read More University, Rajkot, Gujarat, India. My major research areas are pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, pharmacology, development of herbal drug formulation. Three Ph D students registered under me who are presently working in different domains such as antidiabetic, immunomodulator and anticancer herbal drugs. I have guided 7 projects of UG students under SSIP (Student start up and Innovation Policy) scheme of Gujarat Government. I have selected as Mentor in Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) at AICTE, New Delhi to guide two interns for their project works. I am very interested to guide students in various research areas such as evidence based studies on traditionally used drugs and formulation as well as development of herbal drug formulations.
