Dr. Palak Shah works as an Associate Professor and More Head of Department of Pharmacology at K. B. Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. She is M. Pharm. (Induatrial Pharmacology) from M. S. University, Baroda. She was awarded Ph. D from Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya (KSV), Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. She has more than 19-years of academic experience involving preclinical, clinical and regulatory aspects. She has been Principal Investigator for several preclinical research work and toxicity studies sponsored by industries and private sponsors. She guided over 39 post graduate and 18 under graduate students for their dissertation projects. She has been resource person for more than 30 webinars and workshops. Total 37 national and international presentations and recipient of total 8 awards for best presentations. Several international and national peer reviewed publications and peer reviewer for journals. Area of research is rheumatoid arthritis, gout, hypothyroidism, oxidative stress and quality of life in several disease conditions
