My Biography

A dedicated pharmacy academician with over a More decade of experience, excelling as both an accomplished professor and principal in the field. With expertise spanning undergraduate and postgraduate levels, I have effectively imparted knowledge to countless students while simultaneously pushing the boundaries of pharmacy research. My academic contributions include the supervision of more than 40 Bachelor’s project work, 17 Master’s theses, and the ongoing guidance of 8 Ph.D. scholars. In the realm of scholarly work, I have authored two books, providing critical insights into contemporary trends. Additionally, I have published over 20 articles in esteemed peer-reviewed journals and have 5 IPR (Patents). With a passion for excellence in both teaching and academia, I strive to continue shaping the future of pharmacy education and contributing to cutting-edge research in the field.

Hello everyone, I am presently working as Professor at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Atmiya Read More University, Rajkot, Gujarat, India. My major research areas are pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, pharmacology, development of herbal drug formulation. Three Ph D students registered under me who are presently working in different domains such as antidiabetic, immunomodulator and anticancer herbal drugs. I have guided 7 projects of UG students under SSIP (Student start up and Innovation Policy) scheme of Gujarat Government. I have selected as Mentor in Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) at AICTE, New Delhi to guide two interns for their project works. I am very interested to guide students in various research areas such as evidence based studies on traditionally used drugs and formulation as well as development of herbal drug formulations.
