My Biography

Gaurav Agarwal received his Ph.D in Computer More science of Engineering in 2022 from Indian institute of technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad. He had also worked as Senior faculty research fellow at IIT Delhi in 2015. Since September 2023, he has been with the school of computing science & engineering as an Associate Professor and Program Co Chair, B. Tech CSE II Year, at Galgotias University, Greater University, India. He has more than 21 years of academic experience. He has worked as Associate Head and Academic Head for almost eight years. He has also worked as Central NBA Coordinator from 2018 to 2022. He is life member of International Association of Computer Science and Information Technolgy (IACSIT), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Soft Computing Research Society (SCRS), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA). He was the recipient of Young Investigator Award by Interscience Research Network (IRNet), Orissa, Vocational Award, Rotary International U.S.A. and The Rotary Foundation award for outstanding service for world understanding and peace. He has contributed more than forty-two research papers in several International and National journals and conference proceedings of high repute. He has also filed 8 Indian patents out of which 6 has been granted. His main areas of research interest are Speech Signal Processing, Genetic Algorithms and Web Search Engines.
