Dr. Arfan Ali is an Assistant Professor in the More Department of Microbiology at the College of Veterinary Science, Khanapara, Guwahati. With a deep passion for microbiology, he has significantly contributed to research and academia. His academic journey in biological sciences led to his specialization in microbiology, providing a solid foundation in microbial physiology, genetics, and their roles in animal health and disease. Dr. Ali’s teaching emphasizes a hands-on, inquiry-based approach, fostering critical engagement and practical skills in students. His diverse research interests encompass zoonotic diseases, microbial pathogenesis, antimicrobial resistance, environmental microbiology, molecular biology, and immunology. He focuses on identifying zoonotic pathogens, understanding host-pathogen interactions, exploring antimicrobial resistance mechanisms, and studying microbial processes in nutrient cycling and bioremediation. In molecular biology and immunology, Dr. Ali investigates microbial genetics and host immune responses, aiming to develop new therapeutic approaches and vaccines. I am a computer engineer and working in a public sector university as Professor/ Research director Read More in Pakistan. I obtained B.E. degree in Computer Systems Engineering, and M.E. in Communication System and Networks from Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Pakistan in 2004, and 2014 respectively. In 2020, I secured Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Hohai University China. My expertise includes computer architecture, wireless communication, robotics and control, signal processing, grid and distributed computing, computer hardware and networks, Deep learning, artificial intelligence, machine learning, neuro-fuzzy systems, Solid state devices, Data mining, and web applications.
