My Biography

Professor Anil Kumar Mohapatra teaches Political More Science at Fakir Mohan University in Odisha since 2017. He was a recipient of two prestigious fellowships from British Council and Baden-Württemberg (Germany), and undertook research at the University of Oxford, England and at the University of Heidelberg, Germany respectively. He has published 03 books, 11 chapters in books, and 72 articles in both print and electronic journals of repute. He has successfully guided eight scholars for PhD and thirty-four scholars for M.Phil degrees. He was an adjunct faculty at IIT, Bhubaneswar and a visiting Professor to North Bengal University, Siliguri. Professor Mohapatra has presented papers and delivered talks at 90 national and international conferences. These include venues in countries such as Britain, Germany, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Thailand, Nepal and Bangladesh.

Hello everyone, I am presently working as Professor at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Atmiya Read More University, Rajkot, Gujarat, India. My major research areas are pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, pharmacology, development of herbal drug formulation. Three Ph D students registered under me who are presently working in different domains such as antidiabetic, immunomodulator and anticancer herbal drugs. I have guided 7 projects of UG students under SSIP (Student start up and Innovation Policy) scheme of Gujarat Government. I have selected as Mentor in Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) at AICTE, New Delhi to guide two interns for their project works. I am very interested to guide students in various research areas such as evidence based studies on traditionally used drugs and formulation as well as development of herbal drug formulations.
