My Biography

Presently, working as Sr. Associate Professor and More Head, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Alva’s Institute of Engineering Technology (AIET), Moodbidri. Obtained my B.E Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Basaveshwar Engineering College, Bagalkot, under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum (2004), M.Tech in Materials Engineering from National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal (2009) and Ph.D Degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engg from National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal (2014). I worked as a Graduate Apprentice Trainee at Raichur Thermal Power Station, Shatkinagar Sept 2004 – Sept 2005. I Started my teaching career as a Lecturer in Dept. of Mechanical Engg at Sandur Polytechnic, Sandur, Bellary Dist in the year 2006. (Jan 2006 – Jul 2007, in view of joining one of NIT’s for higher study). After completion of M. Tech and Ph. D, I worked as Sr. Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at AIET, Moodbidri from July 2013 to November 2015. Worked as Post-Doctoral Researcher at Institute of Pulsed Power Science (IPPS), Kumamoto University, Japan (from 1-12-2015 to 31-12-2016). Published over 40 Research Technical Papers in peer reviewed International Journals and presented over 30 technical papers in National and International conferences. I have also One Patent Published and A book chapter in hand.
