My Biography

Prof. Tirupathi Rao Padi is currently working with More Pondicherry University. His Research areas of interest are Stochastic & Optimization Modeling; Bio-Statistics & Statistical Computing; SQC, BDA, DEA, etc. The academic distinctions under his credit include Rajendra Prasad Memorial Prize/Sampling Gold Medal received in 61st convocation of AU, Vizag in 1988; Best Research Paper Award at ICBDM in 2006, (iii) Best Applied Research Paper Award, IISA-ISPS 2010; World Championship – 2019 in OR (Stochastic Programming) awarded by IASR, USA; Fellow& LM, DoS, IASR, 2019, Outstanding Scientist Award-2021, International Science Awards, IASP, and FRSS, London, UK. Completed three Research Projects of DST-SERB – MRP; U.G.C – MRP; Rotary Nethra International; Guided 9 Ph.D. & 3 M.Phil., member in 14 research forums like (IAPQR) , (IISA), (RMS), (KSA), (SSCA), (ISI), (IASC), (INSCA), (APSMS), (ISPS), (SREQOM) and (AMTI); Reviewer of about 27 research journals. ZAHID HUSSAIN


Zahid Hussain received his M.Sc. degree (2011-13) in Biochemistry from Punjab University Lahore, and Read More his M.S. degree (2014-17) in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) under the guidance of Prof. Fauzia Yusuf HAFEEZ (TI). He completed his Ph.D. studies (2019-23) in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) under the supervision of Prof. Renjun PEI, in the domain of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine domain. His research interests are interdisciplinary and focused on supramolecular chemistry, photo-functional materials, biomineralized materials, cell surface engineering, the development of fiber-reinforced spheroids, and the fabrication of cell-instructive surfaces and scaffolds for tissue engineering applications. Furthermore, he focuses on improving the compatibility, antifouling, and specific cell-homing properties of blood-contacting biomaterials. He has published up to 25 peer-reviewed papers (among them 11 papers as the first or corresponding author) in international journals (h-index 14).

I am Dr. Shamik Polley, and I am currently employed with West Bengal Read More University of Animal and Fishery Sciences, Kolkata-700 037, India, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Biochemistry, Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. My work focuses on the association between diseases and phenotypes in humans and animals and the structural variation of the genome. My PhD studies at the Department of Genetics, University of Leicester, Leicester, United Kingdom, were funded in 2008–2009 by a National Overseas Scholarship from the Government of India. During my PhD research, a number of disease association studies were conducted in an effort to comprehend the genetic underpinnings of certain human diseases (including Crohn’s, AMD, UTIs, and COPD). I am proficient about a wide range of sophisticated molecular genetics methods that are frequently used to analyse differences in the human and animal genomes, such as ARMS-PCR, PCR-RFLP, DNA sequencing, PCR-SSCP, PRT, MLPA, PFGE, long-range PCR, Southern Blotting, and others. I am also acquainted with bioinformatics and statistical software.
