My Biography

Allow me to introduce myself; I am Mukesh K. More Patel. At the present moment, I am twenty-nine years of age. My educational journey has taken me through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Merchant Engineering College, Basna, followed by a Master’s degree from Veerayatan Group of Engineering. Additionally, I am currently engrossed in pursuing a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the esteemed Faculty of Engineering under RK University, Rajkot.
Drawing upon my passion for the field, I have accrued over two years of valuable experience within the industry, as well as an impressive five-year tenure in the educational realm. My current designation entails serving as an Assistant Professor at Shri Satsangi Saketdham “Ram-ashram” Group of Institutions, Vadsma, where I wholeheartedly dedicate myself to the advancement of knowledge and the development of future scholars.
As a testament to my commitment to continuous learning, I have actively participated in more than seven Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) hosted by various esteemed institutions. Furthermore, my academic contributions have extended to the publication of a paper in an esteemed international journal, and I have proudly presented over three papers at various international conferences, accompanied by conference proceedings.

I am Dr. Shamik Polley, and I am currently employed with West Bengal Read More University of Animal and Fishery Sciences, Kolkata-700 037, India, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Biochemistry, Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. My work focuses on the association between diseases and phenotypes in humans and animals and the structural variation of the genome.
My PhD studies at the Department of Genetics, University of Leicester, Leicester, United Kingdom, were funded in 2008–2009 by a National Overseas Scholarship from the Government of India. During my PhD research, a number of disease association studies were conducted in an effort to comprehend the genetic underpinnings of certain human diseases (including Crohn’s, AMD, UTIs, and COPD). I am proficient about a wide range of sophisticated molecular genetics methods that are frequently used to analyse differences in the human and animal genomes, such as ARMS-PCR, PCR-RFLP, DNA sequencing, PCR-SSCP, PRT, MLPA, PFGE, long-range PCR, Southern Blotting, and others. I am also acquainted with bioinformatics and statistical software.
