My Biography

Dr.Vallabhaneni a is Fellow of Royal More Society,London. He has Graduated from Osmania University and Obtained both M.Tech and Ph.D., degrees from IIT Banaras. He started his career from IIT Chennai in the year 1988. In total he has 35 years Research, Teaching and Administrative experience
At present he is working as Rector of Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology,Vizag and also Dean, Engineering and Management of Vignan’s University, Guntur. Earlier he worked as Founder principal of Vignan’s Lara Institute of Technology,Vadlamudi,Guntur from 2007 to 2011
He guided 4 Ph.Ds, and 15 M.Tech and 40 B.Tech projects.At present he is guiding 5 Ph.D scholars. He has published and presented 40 research papers in International reputed journals and conferences in the field of Energy Engineering, Biofuels and Lithium Ion Battery Technology.
He has completed 10 research projects funded by various government agencies and industries. He visited countries like USA, UK, Mexico, Singapore and Bahrain.
He is the Fellow of Royal Society, London. Dr. Rao is a recipient of Andhra Pradesh State Best Engineering college Principal Award for the year 2010.He is also fellow of IEEE,Indian Institute of Chemical Engineering and Indian Society of Technical Education.

The isolation of NTM species from humans, Mycobacterium virginiense is the second time to be Read More isolated from Human sputum in the world and water,
Mycobacterium fortuitum highlighted that active and ex miners are at potential risks of acquiring pathogenic NTM from mining environment.
The study has reviewed that they are NTM circulating in the mining environment and humans (active and ex miners) in Zambia which are potential pathogenic in immune comprised individuals.
The identification of these Mycobacteria in clinical samples and environmental sources was important for both clinical and patient management, It will also help formulate policy change in understanding transmission factors that increase NTM transmission in mining
