My Biography

Dr. Khursheed Alam is a renowned mathematician and More educator known for his significant contributions to the field of mathematics. He completed his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Mathematics at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, in 1999 and 2005, respectively. With over 15 years of teaching experience and a strong research background, Dr. Alam specializes in Fractals using Wavelet, Image Processing, Non-Linear Dynamical Systems, and Chaos Theory.
His academic journey led him to Sharda University, where he has been a dedicated professor in the Department of Mathematics within the School of Basic Sciences & Research. Dr. Alam’s impact extends beyond the classroom; he has published numerous research papers in prestigious journals and authored five books aimed at undergraduate-level mathematics education. In addition to his teaching and research, he has also served as the Head of the Mathematics Department, contributing significantly to the academic community and the broader field of mathematics. Dr. Khursheed Alam’s passion for mathematics continues to inspire both students and fellow educators alike.

The isolation of NTM species from humans, Mycobacterium virginiense is the second time to be Read More isolated from Human sputum in the world and water,
Mycobacterium fortuitum highlighted that active and ex miners are at potential risks of acquiring pathogenic NTM from mining environment.
The study has reviewed that they are NTM circulating in the mining environment and humans (active and ex miners) in Zambia which are potential pathogenic in immune comprised individuals.
The identification of these Mycobacteria in clinical samples and environmental sources was important for both clinical and patient management, It will also help formulate policy change in understanding transmission factors that increase NTM transmission in mining
