D. scholars of JNTUH, IIT Dhanbad, KU, KLU. BOS Chairperson of KU to ECE, EIE, ME and CE. Completed 21 projects sponsored by RUSA, DST, CSIR and AICTE as PI, worth of Rs 10.00 crores. Collaborations with IISc Bangalore, IIT Dhanbad, Kyushu University, Japan. Industrial consultancy with SCCL Kothagudem, BGML, IOCL, OIL, Gas Malaysia, HZL Rajasthan, and APSEB Srisailam. Patented MBSC system and technology transferred and another on VOS System. Author to 2 books. Fellow of IETE, TAS, ISOI, IASED, Awards, Elsevier, ISTE UP Govt., IETE Biman Behari Memorial , International Bridge Fellowship, JSPS Fellowship, and JSPS Medals, Best paper awards, gold card from NSL USA, NI award. The isolation of NTM species from humans, Mycobacterium virginiense is the second time to be Read More isolated from Human sputum in the world and water,
Mycobacterium fortuitum highlighted that active and ex miners are at potential risks of acquiring pathogenic NTM from mining environment.
The study has reviewed that they are NTM circulating in the mining environment and humans (active and ex miners) in Zambia which are potential pathogenic in immune comprised individuals.
The identification of these Mycobacteria in clinical samples and environmental sources was important for both clinical and patient management, It will also help formulate policy change in understanding transmission factors that increase NTM transmission in mining
