My Biography

I work as a senior bioinformatics scientist at More labcorp with a Ph.D. in bioinformatics concentrating in microbiome research. I have extensive experience in microbiome research, particularly in 16S and metagenomics sequencing and its analysis.
My work involves developing and applying computational methods to study the diversity of microbial communities, with the ultimate goal of understanding how these complex systems influence human health and disease. In my research, I have developed and implemented advanced bioinformatics tools and pipelines to analyze large-scale metagenomic data sets, allowing for the identification of key microbial taxa that may be involved in disease processes. I am also trained in statistical analysis and machine learning techniques, which have enabled me to develop predictive models for disease risk and treatment response.
Throughout my career, I have also collaborated with numerous researchers across different disciplines, including microbiologists, immunologists, epidemiologists, and clinicians, to help answer important questions about the microbiome and its role in human health. My work at Labcorp involves continuing my research in the field of microbiome research and supporting patient health by developing metagenomics pipelines for analyzing patient data.
