My Biography

Lioua Kolsi is currently a full Professor in the More mechanical engineering department, University of Ha’il Saudi, Arabia. His current research projects focus on interdisciplinary applications of nanotechnology and Heat and fluid flow. Kolsi’s areas of expertise include nanofluids applications, CFD, heat and mass transfer, flow visualisation, MHD….Dr. Kolsi has co-authored numerous (more than 250) highly cited journal publications, conference articles and book chapters in the aforementioned topics and has received several awards and grants from various funding agencies. Dr Kolsi h-index is 36 according to Web of Science and he was awarded as one of the 1% best reviewers. In addition, he is ranked among the Top 2% researchers in Mechanical engineering based on Stanford university ranking.

The isolation of NTM species from humans, Mycobacterium virginiense is the second time to be Read More isolated from Human sputum in the world and water,
Mycobacterium fortuitum highlighted that active and ex miners are at potential risks of acquiring pathogenic NTM from mining environment.
The study has reviewed that they are NTM circulating in the mining environment and humans (active and ex miners) in Zambia which are potential pathogenic in immune comprised individuals.
The identification of these Mycobacteria in clinical samples and environmental sources was important for both clinical and patient management, It will also help formulate policy change in understanding transmission factors that increase NTM transmission in mining
