My Biography

Dr Raj Kumar Arya is working as an Associate More Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering AT Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, Punjab, India. Previously, he worked with the Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, Punjab, India, Jaypee University of Engineering & Technology, Guna, India and BITS-Pilani, Goa Campus, India. He received his Ph.D. degree from IIT Bombay, India, M. Tech. from IIT Delhi, India, and B. Tech. from HBTI Kanpur, India. He has guided several masters and Ph.D. students and has over 14 years of research and teaching experience. He is an active researcher in the field of diffusion and drying of thin film polymeric coatings, process engineering, process modelling & simulation. He has authored ~70 journal papers, 2 international patents, 22 conference papers, 29 books chapters, 5 books, 3 Edited Books, 10 special issues in various reputed journals, executed one external funded project of worth Rs 41 Lakhs, organized one international conference: International Chemical Engineering Conference (100 Glorious Years of Chemical Engineering & Technology) 2021 (ICHEEC 2021), ( Virtual Mode), September 16-19, 2021, Jalandhar, Punjab, India, and participated in several conferences.
