My Biography

Dr. Sajid Hussain Siyal is currently working More Associate Professor (BPS 20) /Chairman Department of Metallurgy and Material Engineering, Dawood University of Engineering and Technology Karachi.
Dr. Sajid Hussain Siyal joined the Academia at Dawood University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, as lecturer ( May 2009), soon after his graduation in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro in 2008. He completed his Masters in Materials Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology Karachi in 2014 and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Advanced Composite Center, State Key Laboratory of Organic-Inorganic composites, Beijing University of Chemical Technology in December 2019. He returned to join Dawood University as Assistant Professor and after one year he became Associate Professor and Chair of the Department in Nov 2020. Dr. Sajid Siyal published more than 50 research Articles. His Area of expertise in Solid state electrolytes for energy storage devices/Lithium ion batteries and composite materials.

Dr. Shalini Aggarwal, an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad is an Read More Associate Professor of Finance at Chandigarh University, Mohali. She has a total work experience of 18 years of industry and teaching. She is MBA with specialisation in Finance and PhD in the area of Risk Management Practices in banking sector of India. She has more than 40 research papers published in Scopus and Web of Science and listed in ABDC. Her case studies are published in IIM Ahmedabad case centre. She has also authored 2 edited books published by Taylor and Francis. She has completed three funded research projects (two with IIM, Ahmedabad) and one by IMS Ghaziabad. She has conducted more than 25 workshops on data analysis using time series data in SPSS, E-views and R-Studio and has delivered guest lectures at national and international level like South Africa, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Thailand, Indonesia and Brazil. Further, she has chaired session at national and International conferences in the countries Thailand, Indonesia. She has 8 copyrights and 1 patent in her name and acts as reviewer for emerald, inderscience and sage publications.
Three students have completed their Ph.D with her. She has floated one special issue with the Journal of Sustainable finance and investment of Taylor and francis entitled “International Finance and Sustainability”. She has become the associate editor of the journal “Journal of Sustainable finance and investment” and “Asia pacific financial market”.
