My Biography

I am Dr (Mrs) Sheeba Valsson, Former Principal of More Shri Datta Meghe college of Architecture, Nagpur. I have completed my B.Arch. M Tech – Urban Development and PhD in Architecture and Planning from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal. I have been into academics since 1996. I started my Teaching career with Smt Manoramabai Mundle College of Architecture, Nagpur, as Assistant Professor and then consequently being promoted to Associate Professor and Professor level. Then in 2016 I was invited as Principal of Shri Datta Meghe College of Architecture (SDMCA) and hence Joined SDMCA as Principal on 16th April 2016 till May 2021.I am into research works and also an approved PhD guide of RTM Nagpur University. Four of my candidates have been awarded PhD under my guidance. My area of Expertise is Microclimate Variation, Urban Development, Research In Architecture, Architecture Education, and Appropriate technology.
I was in Board of Studies of RTM Nagpur university and also in expert committees of Council of Architecture COA and RTM Nagpur University.
