My Biography

Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering at More the International University of IKIU since 2017, with extensive experience in manufacturing and research environments. As the owner of the knowledge-based company Pardad Kameh Sanat, I specialize in designing and manufacturing systems and machines for power plants, steel production companies, and Oil & Gas & Petrochemical companies.
My research has primarily focused on Friction Stir Welding/Processing/Surfacing, Activated TIG, VARTM composite manufacturing, and sustainable metal recycling and composite manufacturing methods. I have published about 40 ISI papers and authored a book titled “Advances in Friction Stir Welding and Processing.” Recently, I have been dedicated to sustainable additive manufacturing using 3D printers. My team is working on developing motion control sensors and cameras to implement artificial intelligence and deep learning principles, aiming to produce defect-free products.
In terms of work experience, I served as the Deputy of Science and Technology Park of Qazvin Province, Iran from June 2022 to August 2023. Additionally, I held the position of Dean of the mechanical engineering department from 2019 to 2021. Since 2018, I have been the CEO of Pardad Kameh Sanat, where I have successfully completed projects such as designing apparatus for balancing fuel flow in GE-F9 gas turbine nozzles and establishing a production line for nonwoven fabric using melt blown technology.

My current research focuses on addressing the global challenges posed by plastics wastes and Read More greenhouse gas emissions with the hope of improving human wellbeing through the protection of the environment. Plastics wastes and greenhouse gases have been found to have disastrous effects on the environment and the human ecosystem culminating to sever health challenges which is a threat to the existence and growth of humans. Hence, the need for urgent attention in confronting the imminent danger inimical to our existence. In an effort to address the issues highlighted, I am currently working on three research topics, viz.; Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) filled composites for strategic applications, Fabrication of filament extrudate from recycle PET bottles for 3D printers and Mechanical storage of renewable energy.
