My Biography

Dr. Suresh D Mane, a principal and professor at More Dr. D Y Patil Pratisthans College of Engineering in Kolhapur in Maharashtra India since 2022, has been leading an AICTE-approved institution since 2015. His research interests include NEP 2020, NIRF rankings, accreditation (NAAC and NBA), outcome-based education, internal combustion engines, solar PV, diesel locomotives, and biodiesel. He has published over 50 research papers in international journals and has attended numerous conferences in India and abroad, including Malaysia, IIT Bombay, IIEST Howrah, and IISc Bangalore. His work has been published in reputable journals like Web of Science, Scopus, Springer, Taylor and Francis, and others.

The isolation of NTM species from humans, Mycobacterium virginiense is the second time to be Read More isolated from Human sputum in the world and water,
Mycobacterium fortuitum highlighted that active and ex miners are at potential risks of acquiring pathogenic NTM from mining environment.
The study has reviewed that they are NTM circulating in the mining environment and humans (active and ex miners) in Zambia which are potential pathogenic in immune comprised individuals.
The identification of these Mycobacteria in clinical samples and environmental sources was important for both clinical and patient management, It will also help formulate policy change in understanding transmission factors that increase NTM transmission in mining
