My Biography

Chandra Mohan is a Senior Faculty of Chemistry at More K R Mangalam University, Gurugram with over 15 years of teaching and research experience. He has published more than 55 research papers in Peer reviewed journals, 10 books and 12 international/national patents. He also extended the privilege of being invited/ keynote speaker in various International Conference in India and abroad. He was recently awarded with Young Researcher Award from IARC Kenya for his outstanding contribution in research. He serves as editorial board member of various international journals and also a member of various scientific societies like ACS, RSC, SACI, ECS (USA), CCS, ISCA, ICC etc. He is an Associate Editor of INORGACHEM Journal, UAE. He was the Convener of International FDP and Co-convener of International Conference (AASET-2017).

My current research focuses on addressing the global challenges posed by plastics wastes and Read More greenhouse gas emissions with the hope of improving human wellbeing through the protection of the environment. Plastics wastes and greenhouse gases have been found to have disastrous effects on the environment and the human ecosystem culminating to sever health challenges which is a threat to the existence and growth of humans. Hence, the need for urgent attention in confronting the imminent danger inimical to our existence. In an effort to address the issues highlighted, I am currently working on three research topics, viz.; Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) filled composites for strategic applications, Fabrication of filament extrudate from recycle PET bottles for 3D printers and Mechanical storage of renewable energy.
