My Biography

Dr. Ketan P. Gattu is an Assistant Professor at More the Department of Nanotechnology, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, where he has been a faculty member since May 2017. He earned his Ph.D. in Nanotechnology from the same university, focusing on the bio-synthesis of tin oxide nanoparticles and their application in gas sensors.
Dr. Gattu’s research interests encompass the design and development of nanomaterials using innovative techniques such as microreactor technology and bio-green synthesis methods. He has significant experience in synthesizing and characterizing a variety of nanomaterials, including metals, metal oxides, and carbon-based materials, aimed at improving their properties and performance for applications in energy storage, catalysis, and biomedicine.
Throughout his career, Dr. Gattu has contributed extensively to the scientific community with numerous publications in high-impact journals. He has also been an active journal referee for several prestigious journals, including IOP Nanotechnology and ACS Omega. His work has been recognized with patents, and he has delivered invited talks on nanotechnology applications.
Dr. Gattu is committed to advancing the field of nanotechnology through both his research and teaching, having taught various courses in nanotechnology at the Master’s level and supervised numerous graduate students. His dedication to science and education continues to drive his contributions to the field of nanoscience and nanomaterials.
