My Biography

Dr Pankaja Pandey joined as an Assistant Professor More at the Department of Physical Education, Yoga and Sports Sciences in July 2023. She also holds various administrative positions in University. She has previously worked as an Assistant professor at Amity University for three years and also worked in Indian Railways for almost 10 years in the Electrical Dept before switching her professional career in Education field. She holds a Ph.D. Degree in physical education from Amity University, Uttar Pradesh. She has qualified for the National Eligibility Test (NET) Conducted by U.G.C. She completed her Masters in Physical Education from the University of Mumbai and She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education as well as a B.TECH in Electrical Engineering.
Her area of research & expertise includes curriculum development in physical education, Biomechanics, Physical fitness & wellness, ICT in physical education and sports sciences, and Athletics.
She has been an outstanding sports person and her sports achievements include various gold, silver and bronze medals in Sprint events at the National Level Athletic Championship. She has represented the South Eastern Railways team at the Inter Railways Athletic Championship for 7 years while working for Indian Railways.
