My Biography

Qusay Alsalhy, an Iraqi-born Chemical Engineer, More serves as a lecturer in the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Technology in Baghdad. Having commenced his tenure as an assistant lecturer in 1996, he successfully earned his Ph.D. degree from East China University of Science and Technology in 2004. His primary research focus revolves around the Preparation of Hollow Fiber Membranes and its Application. Alsalhy has made significant contributions to scholarly publications, with numerous articles featured in reputable journals. In early 2012, he established the Membrane Technology Research Unit at the University of Technology. Over the years, he has held various key positions at the university, including Director of Oil and Gas Refinery Engineering, Chemical Processing Engineering, Deputy Head of Chemical Engineering Department for Administrative and Scientific Affairs, and Director of the Membrane Technology Research Unit. In recognition of his outstanding achievements, Alsalhy was awarded the professorial title in 2013. He actively supervises several M.Sc. and Ph.D. students. Additionally, he serves on the editorial board of the different Journals, while also contributing as a reviewer for several journals across various publishers.

Hello everyone,
I am presently working as Professor at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Atmiya Read More University, Rajkot, Gujarat, India. My major research areas are pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, pharmacology, development of herbal drug formulation. Three Ph D students registered under me who are presently working in different domains such as antidiabetic, immunomodulator and anticancer herbal drugs. I have guided 7 projects of UG students under SSIP (Student start up and Innovation Policy) scheme of Gujarat Government. I have selected as Mentor in Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) at AICTE, New Delhi to guide two interns for their project works. I am very interested to guide students in various research areas such as evidence based studies on traditionally used drugs and formulation as well as development of herbal drug formulations.
