My Biography

Pravin Sankhwar is a licensed Professional More Engineer in MD. With significant years of experience in graduate-level studies, electrical engineering consulting business, and petroleum operations, he has contributed to safe practices in the industry per codes and standards. He acts as a Principal Member of IEEE SA NESC. A sustainable practice background from MS in electrical engineering led him to earn Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design – LEED AP (BD+C) certification. His contributions to the transportation sector in the US are commendable as they include the review of electrical design drawings for buildings that support the road transportation department, electric vehicle charging stations design reviews and scoping, and electrification fleet transition modeling. These designs have direct application of the approved industry standards for the government agencies across the United States such as the NESC, NEC, NETA MTS, IECC, ASHRAE 90.1, IBC, IFC, and applicable NFPA standards.

I obtained B.E. degree in Computer Systems Engineering, and M.E. in Communication System and Networks from Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Pakistan in 2004, and 2014 respectively. In 2020, I secured Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Hohai University China.
My expertise includes computer architecture, wireless communication, robotics and control, signal processing, grid and distributed computing, computer hardware and networks, Deep learning, artificial intelligence, machine learning, neuro-fuzzy systems, Solid state devices, Data mining, and web applications.
Currently, I am an Associate Editor of more than 5 International SCI research journals including IEEE, MDPI, Hindawi, Springer, and Elsevier. In addition, acting as peer reviewer of more than 50 international journals and conference proceedings.
