Profile
Prof. Mohamed Bak Kamaludeen has his focus in research fields such as design, composite materials, structures and non-destructive testing. He has proposed a research topic that acoustic emission characterization of failure modes on lap joints, which is used to identify the frequency ranges for different lap joints in composite materials. He had secured university first rank at UG level in Madurai Kamarajar University. He has received best Academic awards from Tagore Engineering College during 2010-2011 and DSCET, chennai during 2011-2012. He had served in various engineering colleges in various capacities such as Academic and Project coordinator, Faculty Advisor, Conference and Symposium Convener, NBA and ISO coordinator etc. He has served as Reviewer for Journal of Reinforced Plastics and Composites, Journal of Non-Destructive and Evaluation. Hè has published twelve research papers in international and national reputed journals.

Hi there to all of you! I am Dr. Shamik Polley, and I am currently employed with West Bengal Read More University of Animal and Fishery Sciences, Kolkata-700 037, India, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Biochemistry, Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. My work focuses on the association between diseases and phenotypes in humans and animals and the structural variation of the genome.
My PhD studies at the Department of Genetics, University of Leicester, Leicester, United Kingdom, were funded in 2008–2009 by a National Overseas Scholarship from the Government of India. During my PhD research, a number of disease association studies were conducted in an effort to comprehend the genetic underpinnings of certain human diseases (including Crohn’s, AMD, UTIs, and COPD). I am proficient about a wide range of sophisticated molecular genetics methods that are frequently used to analyse differences in the human and animal genomes, such as ARMS-PCR, PCR-RFLP, DNA sequencing, PCR-SSCP, PRT, MLPA, PFGE, long-range PCR, Southern Blotting, and others. I am also acquainted with bioinformatics and statistical software.
