My Biography

I received my Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from More AmirKabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. I have served a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG), India. Moreover, from January 2021 to March 2022, I have done another postdoc (remotely) with the University of Guelph, Canada. Since April 2022, I have been doing my third postdoc at Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan.
My research areas include Information and Cyber Security, as well as Information-Theoretic Cryptography, Hardware-Oriented Cryptography, AI-Assisted Cryptography, and Quantum Cryptography.
My book on Physically Unclonable Functions (Published by CRC) was ranked (by BookAuthority) as the best book of all time in the world (In cryptographic hardware). I have won the ScienceFather Best Researcher Award. I am an invited ACM member. I have published papers in highly-prestigious venues such as Designs, Codes and Cryptography, Quantum Information and Computing, ACM Computing Surveys, IEEE Communications Letters, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, Entropy, etc.
