My Biography

Prof. Jasmine Gohil has more than 21 years of More cumulative experience in areas of teaching and professional practice. she holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Bhaikaka enter for Human Settlement, APIED and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Institute of Environmental Studies, D.C. Patel School of Architecture, V.V.Nagar.
Prof. Jasmine has been associated for almost 13 years with various Architecture and Design Schools as an Academician and has guided more than 60 theses. Her students have participated and brought laurels in reputed competitions and events like NIASA, ARCHIPRIX and NASA .her research work is also published in reputed journals such as Scopus indexed journals Emerald publishing.
During her 20 years of tenure as a practicing architect, she has worked on several projects ranging from small scale residential projects to large institutional projects. She has also received an award ‘exceptional woman of excellence in 2017’ by Women Economic Forum. She has also learnt Kathak dance form and her hobbies include reading, traveling and listening to music.
At Anant National University, Prof. Jasmine has been active in contributing towards the development of new teaching pedagogies and all-round development of students to become better professionals. She teaches various architecture and design courses and is especially interested in Design and Research thesis. She is the Associate Dean Academic Affairs & professor of School of Architecture
