My Biography

Dr. Ajit Salunke is an Associate Professor in More Mechanical Engineering at Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE), Fatorda, Goa. He has served as Head of Department for 10 years and as Officiating Principal for a year. He holds PhD from VTU Belagavi specializing in automated quality grading of agricultural edible nuts using machine vision and physical properties. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, M.Tech in Computer Integrated Manufacturing, PG Diploma in HRM & a Diploma in Training & Development. With over 26 years of professional experience, Dr. Ajit Salunke has been associated with Padre Conceição College of Engineering and Sesa Goa Ltd. He has organized 60+ workshops & seminars, including corporate training programs, & delivered 40+ invited talks on Robotics, Automation, 3D Printing, Industry 4.0, & Smart Farming at engineering colleges, polytechnics & schools across Goa & Karnataka. Dr. Salunke has published 26 research papers in national/ international journals & conferences and has presented his work at an international conference at the National University of Singapore. A Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) and Life Member of ISTE, NIPM, and VIBHA, AMIEE, he received the CSI TechNext “Best HOD of the Year” Award (2017) at IIT Mumbai. He has also served on the Board of Governors of DBCE, the Board of Studies in Mechanical Engineering at Goa University, and contributes as a resource person for Vidnyan Dhara (DHE, Govt. of Goa) and SCIFFI.

Sangeeta Kakkar is an assistant professor of clinical psychology at Shoolini University and a Read More Research Scholar. Delhi is where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her postgraduate degree in clinical psychology. Kakkar is a committed teacher who is passionate about learning how previous trauma affects people’s lives and actions.
Kakkar had clinical experience through internships at several hospitals and healthcare facilities before beginning her academic career. She was exposed to a range of mental health issues during her three months as an intern psychologist at Lok-Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital in Delhi Gate, India. Kakkar also worked as an intern in Fortis Healthcare Limited’s Department of Mental Health and Behavioural Sciences, where she worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disease.
Kakkar’s academic achievements are her B.Ed. and qualified UGC-NET Assistant Professor test. Additionally, she was successful on both the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test and the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. Kakkar is now conducting research on the stress, coping mechanisms, and mental health issues that parents of children with developmental impairments encounter.
Till now I have published research articles in International peer review journals. Looking forward to working more in the field of clinical psychology.
