My Biography

Dr Aman Sharma, MRSC is a Materials Chemist and More educator dedicated to environmental sustainability. He was an Assistant Professor of Chemistry & Research Coordinator at the Department of Science & Humanities, School of Advanced Studies, S-VYASA University, Bengaluru. His research focuses on transforming bio-waste into advanced functional materials for water treatment and environmental remediation. He completed his Doctorate in 2025 from the Centre for Advanced Research & Development (CARD) at Christ University Bengaluru, under the supervision of Prof. Gurumurthy Hegde, FRSC (Director, CARD).
Working at the intersection of nanotechnology and sustainability, Dr Sharma’s research focuses on biomass-based carbon nanomaterials and their various applications. He is also the founder of AMSH Endeavours, a government grant-supported start-up designed to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world environmental applications. His work has resulted in multiple patents and high-impact publications focused on a “waste-to-wealth” approach.
