My Biography

Dr. Ajay Kumar Gupta is working as Director – More Research & Development at Ganpat University. Dr. Gupta completed his Ph.D. Degree (Univ. of Delhi, 2001) and PGDBA (SCDL, Pune). Dr. Gupta is Internationally acclaimed R&D professional with more than 22+ years of Post-doc, Industrial and academic experience in Research, Technology and Product development in Pharma / Biotech / Environment / Waste water treatment / waste management / Renewable energy / Electric Vehicles etc. He was recently appointed as Research Fellow by INTI University, Malaysia. Dr. Gupta has a total of 12500+ Citations, 20 Granted Patents, 30 Patent applications, 23 Publications / Conference Proceedings, 7 Books / Book chapters to his credit. He has worked in various capacities with Glasgow University (UK), Crusade Labs (UK), Panacea Biotech, Torrent Pharma Ltd., Bioplus Lifesciences, Intas group of companies, CII and Arvind Group etc. He has received received research funding of Rs. 5 Cr+ from various Government agencies for his research projects. One of the review articles written by him has been cited by more than 8300 articles Dr. Gupta was appointed member of Healthcare Task force Committee constituted by DBT, Govt. of India for its 12th Five year Plan in year 2011. He has also reviewed Grant applications and participated for projects hearing for Govt. of Austria (year 2006). Dr. Gupta participated in one-day brainstorming session on “Gujarat’s Nano Mission” organized by GUJCOST, Govt. of Gujarat (2021).
